Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application of Terms)

These Terms of Service (the 'Terms') set out the conditions for using Language Journey (the 'Service'). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Service Overview)

The Service is a platform for users learning different languages to connect online and engage in language exchange. Users can create profiles, post on the bulletin board, and exchange messages with other users.

Article 3 (Accounts)

• Registration is required to use the Service.
• Please provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
• You are responsible for managing your account password. Transferring or sharing it with third parties is prohibited.
• Creating multiple accounts is prohibited.

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

Users must not engage in the following activities:

• Harassment, defamation, threats, or discriminatory speech toward other users
• Careless sharing or soliciting of personal information (addresses, phone numbers, social media accounts, etc.)
• Fraud, impersonation, or spreading false information
• Solicitation or advertising for commercial purposes
• Posting obscene, violent, or illegal content
• Unauthorized access to or interference with the Service's systems
• Acts that violate laws or public morality

Article 5 (Posted Content)

• Copyright in content posted by users belongs to the user.
• Posted content may be used to improve and operate the Service.
• Posts on the bulletin board are visible to all users. Please refrain from including personal information.
• The operator may delete content that violates the prohibited activities without prior notice.

Article 6 (Disclaimers)

• The Service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee the continuity, accuracy, or safety of the Service.
• The operator bears no responsibility for disputes between users.
• The operator shall not be liable for damages arising from use of the Service, unless due to willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 7 (Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination)

The operator may change, temporarily suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice to users. The operator shall not be liable for any damages to users resulting from such actions.

Article 8 (Amendment of Terms)

The operator may amend these Terms as necessary. Amended Terms take effect when posted on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator's location.
